Test System Support can be divided into two main areas, engineering support and maintenance support. Engineering support of test systems involves updating the system
for new technology, new test or process specifications, designing diagnostic and self test routines for the system and improving system performance. Maintenance support of the test system includes providing training, calibration services, spares and helping to trouble shoot system faults.
