PXI Chassis and Instrumentation
The Series 2050 is centered on the widely-supported PXI (PCI Extensions for Instrumentation) standard. The Series 2050 integrates a 18-slot 6U PXI Chassis that supports 3U instruments. You can choose from an expanding selection of Digalog designed PXI cards or from any of more than 60 vendors who support the open-architecture PXI standard.
Resource Interface Chassis and Instrumentation
The Series 2050 is designed to take advantage of open architecture bus technologies, while providing for the needs of a fully integrated test systems via the Resource Interface Chassis (RIC).
The RIC is an ultra-quiet, low-noise, high-density environment. For application-specific needs, the RIC can be configured with a wide selection of signal conditioning, source, measurement, and switching capabilities. This allows for the accuracy required for many of today test applications.
Mass Interconnect
Digalog selected the industry standard Virginia Panel Interface as the mass interconnect to the UUT. It can be configured with the exact mixture of high-density, high-current, and coaxial connections needed for a particular UUT. This interface may be populated as required, and expanded to support changing needs. The Virginia Panel Interface provides a reliable, industry accepted adapter to the UUT, whether using a fixture or wiring harness.
