1A Relay Control

Electronic Test Equipment

1 Amp Switching Board

An example of usage is to place a 47 ohm “dirty closed” switch resistance and 51K ohm “leaky open” switch resistance on the board to test automotive discrete inputs. The jumper selection would determine if the discrete input was to be treated as an active high or an active low. Another example is to use a channel as a simple Form A relay by placing a zero ohm resistor in the load location and configuring the jumper as a Form A relay channel which diverts the other side of the load to a connector rather than the active states. A third example is to use a channel as a low-current load relay by replacing the zero ohm resistor mentioned in the previous example with the proper rated load. A status LED is located next to each relay to show the status of the relay coil.
